The Indonesia-Malaysia-Singapore Growth Triangle (IMS-GT), is a trilateral cooperation between the three countries to foster regional development, trade, economic benefits and political understanding. The Association of South East Asian Nations (ASEAN) in December 1989 inspired the formation of Growth Triangles amongst its members. Growth Triangles evolved.
